II. La Lettera — from the house
Dear guest,
We make fewer things than we could, and we make them slowly. A jacket here takes eighteen hours at the bench, most of it by hand, most of it unseen.
We cut for the way a man actually lives — the long lunch, the walk down to the harbour, the evening that runs late. Clothes that forgive you. Clothes that look better on the third day than the first.
The shutters are open. Come in, stay as long as you like.
